Birmingham starlet Jack Butland has completed an initial one-month loan switch to Cheltenham in order to further his development.
The goalkeeper, who is only 18 years of age, made a successful debut for England's Under-21 side in their 6-0 romp over Azerbaijan last Thursday.
Butland is yet to make a first-team appearance for Blues but it is hoped he will get the chance to gain vital matchday experience at Whaddon Road, in a Cheltenham side managed by former City midfielder Mark Yates.
The Bristol-born shot-stopper will challenge Scott Brown for Town's number one jersey and could potentially make his debut in Saturday`s home clash against Macclesfield.
