Sandro signs new Spurs deal

Sandro has committed his future to Tottenham by signing a new five-year contract, the Barclays Premier League club announced on Thursday.

Sandro joined Tottenham from Brazilian club Internacional in 2010 and made an immediate impact, starring in midfield alongside Luka Modric towards the end of last season.

The Brazil international had been linked with Roma and Barcelona this summer but has confirmed that he sees his future at White Hart Lane by signing a new contract that will run until the summer of 2016.
