Leyton Orient have signed former Charlton striker Kevin Lisbie on a four-month contract.

Lisbie was released by Ipswich at the end of last season and the Os have swooped for the 32-year-old on short-term deal.

"Kevin has played much of his career at Championship and Premier League level," manager Russell Slade told the club's official website. "It's surprising to see someone with such ability not with a club."

He added: "He's desperate to get going again, so all the enthusiasm is there."

Lisbie will be hoping to fire Orient up the table after a winless opening six games leaves his new employers at the bottom of npower League One.
