Tottenham rattled in three goals in the space of five minutes as they came from behind to beat Shamrock Rovers 3-1 in their Europa League Group A match at White Hart Lane.

After a goalless first half, the Irish minnows stunned Harry Redknapp's side when they took the lead through a close-range flick from Stephen Rice.

Rovers were ahead for 10 minutes before Roman Pavlyuchenko, Jermain Defoe and Giovani dos Santos scored in quick succession to ease the home crowd's nerves and put Spurs top of the group after two games.
