Tangerines swoop for Shelvey

Blackpool have swooped to secure the services of Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey on a three-month loan.

The promising 19-year-old, an England Under-21s international, made several appearances for the Barclays Premier League side last season.

Shelvey also holds the record of being Charlton's youngest ever player, with his impressive performances prompting the Reds to sign him for £1.7million.
