Football News 24/7Paul Sturrock has won the npower League Two manager of the month award for September.
The Southend manager led his side to four wins, one draw and just one defeat during the month, propelling the Shrimpers to the division's top spot.
Sturrock saw off competition from Shrewsbury boss Graham Turner, Paolo Di Canio of Swindon and AFC Wimbledon's Terry Brown to claim the prize.
