Williams extends Blades stay

On-loan Reading defender Marcus Williams will stay with Sheffield United until December 13.

The 25-year-old left-back has been at Bramall Lane since mid-September and his initial month-long deal was due to expire after Sunday's derby clash with Sheffield Wednesday.

However, Williams will remain in South Yorkshire for a further two months, despite missing the Blades' last two games with a dead leg.
