Zubar eyeing Wolves comeback

Defender Ronald Zubar hopes to play a major role for Wolves this season after six months out through injury.

Zubar suffered a troublesome back problem midway through last season before seeing his comeback hampered by a groin niggle. He has been back in action for the reserves in recent weeks, though, and is now eyeing a successful return to the first team.

He told the club website: "My season starts now. I want to do what I can to help the team because the injury hasn't helped anyone. I want to try and be involved for the rest of the season and stay injury free. I'm just looking forward to trying to play a part. I just want to be involved as it's so difficult to watch."
