Manchester United are planning to garner a deal for Tomasz Kuszczak to leave the club for a ‘cut-price’ deal, according to The Sun, with the keeper unhappy with limited game time at Old Trafford.

Kuszczak is third choice keeper behind Anders Lindergaard and Edwin van der Sar, and after a particularly disappointing performance last season against Blackburn last season, the 29-year-old isn’t getting a look in from Sir Alex Ferguson.

United were hoping to get £4 million for the stopper, but the club are willing to accept lower offers to offload Kuszczak, as he becomes more unhappy at getting limited game time.

West Brom were said to be hoping to take Kuszczak on board, and will be more interested when United lower their asking price for the Poland international.
