Alessandro Del Piero says he will continue playing after leaving Juventus

Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero says he will not retire from football following his departure from the Serie A giants.

The Italian World Cup winner is ready to leave Turin this coming summer after it w as reveal he would not be handed a new deal.

The revelation has sparked a queue for his services, with Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United two clubs currently linked with the player.

On his future Del Piero said: "My future after June 30, 2012 is that of a football player. I will continue playing."

AC Milan are one of this ready to swoop for Del Piero, ahead of Newcastle and Spurs.

However, Newcastle's bank balance is such that they could plot a big money move for Del Piero, while Tottenham will be eager to add to their attack which could be missing Roman Pavlyuchenko, with the Russian rumoured to be on his way from White Hart Lane.
