Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh is in line to join David Beckham at Paris St Germain, according to Metro.

The Moroccan striker has been out of favour at The Emirates Stadium, with Robin Van Persie's form leaving Chamakh out of in the cold.

And Chamakh could be ready for a return to France with PSG, who are also ready to launch a bid for Beckham.

Arsenal's signing of Park Chu-Young has also pushed Chamakh down the pecking order, with the South Korean expected to start the club's Carling Cup tie against Manchester City on Tuesday.

The signing of the Arsenal striker is unlikely to be the only recruit in the January transfer window, the likes of Carlos Tevez and Edinson Cavani also muted.
