As memorable a contest between these two London rivals came after Tottenham had trumped Chelsea in the Carling Cup final at Wembley, and The Blues began with revenge in mind.

Didier Drogba headed the visitors ahead, before Michael Essien's deflected shot put Chelsea back in front following Jonathan Woodgate's leveller.

Joe Cole struck decisively to double their advantage, but Dimitar Berbatov's header and Tom Huddlestone's drive restored parity.

Cole's solo effort looked to have stolen the points either 10 minutes left, but Robbie Keane's long-range effort meant the points were shared.
