Tigers complete King deal

Npower Championship play-off hopefuls Hull City have today received a boost with the loan capture of Manchester United striker Joshua King.

The Norwegian Under-21 international's short-term switch will last until the end of the season, and will see him team up with former Red Devil Joe Dudgeon and another Red Devils loanee, Robbie Brady.

20-year-old King has spent the first-half of this campaign on loan in the Bundesliga, with Borussia Moenchengladbach, but his time in Germany has been relatively unsuccessful, making just two substitute appearances.

The striker, of Gambian heritage, made his debut for Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2009 in a Carling Cup home tie with Wolves, and possesses experience of England's second tier having played there previously for Preston North End.

The loan capture boosts Hull City's attacking ranks, with Matty Fryatt, Aaron McLean, Jay Simpson and Dele Adebola already on the books at the KC Stadium.
