Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny believes the quality of The Gunners' squad means they're sure to finish in the Premier League's top four this season.

The Polish stopper has been arguable the club's most consistent performer this term along with top scorer Robin Van Persie.

A second successive league defeat at the hands of Swansea City leaves Arsene Wenger's side four points behind fourth placed Chelsea and 10 adrift of Tottenham Hotspur.

But Szczesny said: "I am confident we will get into the top four. "We don't deserve to be outside the top four.

“We should be challenging for trophies every year and I believe the results will pick up and we will at least finish in the top four because we have the quality in the squad to succeed."

The club's form on the road, which has seen them lose on six occasions already this season - with only Queens Park Rangers and Bolton Wanderer having registered more - has hindered their ability to keep in touch with the top four.

"I have no idea why we can't win away from home," Szczesny admits.

"The results speak for themselves and we have been really poor away this season. I really can't explain it.

"We go everywhere and try to do our best but the results don't go our way. We have talked about it and cannot come up with an answer. We need to sort it out."
