Trotters too strong for Reds

Bolton secured only their second home win of the season as the 3-1 victory over Liverpool lifted them out of the relegation zone.

Midfielders Mark Davies and Nigel Reo-Coker gave the home side a deserved 2-0 lead inside half an hour before Craig Bellamy reduced the deficit before the interval.

However, five minutes into the second half Gretar Steinsson restored the two-goal cushion.
