Morrison 'close to Hammers switch'

Manchester United's Ravel Morrison is in talks with West Ham over a move to the npower Championship outfit.

Morrison's contract is due to expire in the summer and the teenager has been offered an extension by the Old Trafford outfit.

However, United would also be willing to sell the player now rather than risk losing him to a fee that would be decided by a tribunal in the summer.
