Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam believes the next month will define the club's season and he has not yet ruled out Champions League qualification.

Last weekend's defeat to Arsenal left the Reds 10 points adrift of fourth place but they have a packed schedule coming up which gives them every opportunity of clawing back lost ground. They travel to Sunderland on Saturday before returning to Anfield for the Merseyside derby on Tuesday ahead of the visit of Stoke in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

"March is probably going to define the season for us and we're going to keep playing and trying to win as many games as we can," the Scotland international told liverpoolfc.tv.
