Chelsea face competition from AC Milan for Brazilian winger Willian, according to the Metro.

The Shakhtar Donetsk star reportedly wants to leave Ukraine at the end of the season, with Europe's elite queuing up.

Two of those, Milan and Chelsea, are expected to go head-to-head for Willian, who has often starred in the Champions League with Donetsk.

"There are three English, two Spanish and three or four Italian clubs following him," his agent Paulo Affonso said.

In the January transfer window, a bid from Chelsea was made in relation to Willian, who reportedly has a £29 million release clause.

The Brazilian has made two appearances for his country, after playing a starring role in the Under 20 South American Championships in 2007.

A move to either Milan or Chelsea would be hugely viable for Willian, given the substantial amount of fellow countryman at both clubs.

Alexandre Pato, Thiago Silva and Robinho would assist the 23-year-old settling in at the San Siro, while at Stamford Bridge, Ramires, Lucas Piazon and David Luiz could make up a samba quartet in west London.
