Blackburn goalkeeper Paul Robinson is relieved to have finally kept his first clean sheet of the season and believes Rovers must take advantage of their growing confidence.

The 2-0 win at fellow strugglers Wolves last time out was vital in their battle against relegation but was also significant for being the first time since April that Rovers had prevented their opponents scoring. Robinson admits it was a statistic which was starting to weigh heavily, but now they need to continue the good work which has seen them collect four points from two games.

"On a personal level the clean sheet was very important, you don't want records like that against you," Robinson said ahead of Tuesday night's Barclays Premier League clash with Sunderland at Ewood Park.
