Neil Lennon has been given until next Tuesday to respond to a Notice of Complaint issued by the Scottish Football Association's Compliance Officer after being sent off at the interval during Sunday's 3-2 Clydesdale Bank Premier League defeat by Rangers at Ibrox.

The Celtic boss has allegedly breached rule 203 which states that "No member of Team Staff shall commit Misconduct at a match, including but not limited to committing acts of the kind described in the Schedule of Offences in Annex C".

The rule relates to "Misconduct at a match by dissent, the adoption of aggressive behaviour towards a match official and the repeated use of offensive, abusing and insulting language".
