Porto winger James Rodriguez has admitted his interest in a move to Manchester United.

The Colombian international has been watched four times in the past two months by Red Devils scouts, according to talkSPORT, whilst German giants Bayern Munich are also said to be keen on a move for the 20-year-old.

Valued in the region of £30 million, the former Banfield star has a contract until 2014 at the Estadio do Dragao, but would be willing to leave the Primeira Liga champions if a call came from United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

"I am only focused on Porto at the moment but I could not reject to play for Manchester United. It would please me," he told Colombian newspaper Nuevo Estadio.

Rodriguez started his career at Envigado, making his senior debut in 2006 before moving to Banfield two years later. Andre Villas-Boas brought the player to Europe in 2010, spending €5.1 million on the player.

Now a first-team regular under Vitor Pereira, Rodriguez has earned four caps for his country thus far, and with big things expected of the youngster, he could follow in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Nani in leaving Portugal for the Premier League.
