Harry Redknapp has called for Tottenham to "pick themselves up" and challenged his side to turn their form around ahead of this weekend’s FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea.
Spurs’ Premier League form has waned of late and Norwich’s shock win at White Hart Lane means Champions League qualification is now far from guaranteed.
Newcastle have moved level with the Lillywhites while Arsenal can go five points clear of their north London rivals with victory at Wolves on Wednesday night.
But Redknapp insists there is no chance of his players feeling sorry for themselves and has asked for a response at Wembley.
“Monday was a bad day for us but we have to pick ourselves up,” he told tottenhamhotspur.com.
“We’ve an FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea on Sunday and then five big games to go and we’ve got to look to win all five.
"It's us, Newcastle and Chelsea and it’s tight. It's going to be close, and it's the team who wants it most.”
Spurs return to Premier League action next weekend with a trip to relegation-threatened QPR, before hosting Blackburn.
Away games at Bolton and Aston Villa follow before they conclude their league campaign with the visit of Martin Jol’s Fulham.
“It’s the team that has the best five games,” said Redknapp. “We have to make sure it’s us.”
