Chelsea will meet Liverpool in the FA Cup final on Sunday May 5 after the Blues beat Spurs in controversial circumstances yesterday.

1-0 up early in the second half, Chelsea were awarded a second goal despite the fact the ball did not cross the line from Juan Mata's shot.

In the Premier League, Manchester United maintained their five point lead at the top of the table with an emphatic win over Aston Villa.

A 6-1 rout at Norwich meanwhile sees rivals Manchester City stay in the title race - with just four games of the Premier League season remaining.
