Rio Ferdinand has been left out of England's Euro 2012 squad.
As had been widely reported, the Manchester United defender's name was missing from Roy Hodgson's 23-man squad when it was unveiled by the Football Association on Wednesday.
Ferdinand's long-time central defensive partner John Terry was included alongside Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy and Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who are uncapped.
