QPR must look to make "great strides" next season, according to assistant manager Mark Bowen, after a dramatic end to a rollercoaster campaign ended in Barclays Premier league survival.

The Hoops beat the drop despite losing in dramatic fashion at Etihad Stadium as Manchester City were crowned champions on the final day.

And Bowen believes the Rs can now build for a promising future among England's elite, telling the club's official website: "This club can now make giant strides. Everybody involved realised what that final day was all about."
