Injury scare for Lampard

Frank Lampard will go for a scan on Thursday after suffering a thigh injury in training.

The midfielder only joined up with the England squad for the first time on Tuesday after playing in Chelsea's Champions League final win over Bayern Munich on May 19.

But already it appears that his Euro 2012 campaign is in doubt, with Jordan Henderson placed on standby once more.
