Pogrebnyak agrees terms with Reading

Reading have confirmed they have agreed personal terms with Russia striker Pavel Pogrebnyak and are awaiting a work permit application to finalise the transfer.

Royals boss Brian McDermott revealed earlier this week that a deal for Pogrebnyak had been struck, and after the player passed his medical the club say they anticipate the deal to be completed in the coming days.

"Reading Football Club has agreed terms with Pavel Pogrebnyak to join the club," read a statement on club website readingfc.co.uk.
