The Hammers have offered a £17 million to bring the 23-year-old to Upton Park, although Carroll is not thought to be keen on the idea.

Juventus have pulled out of the race to sign Arsenal captain Robin van Persie - leaving Manchester City and Manchester United to battle it out for the striker. (Daily Mail)

The Italian champions have been put off by Arsenal's demands, which leaves a straight fight between the Manchester duo.

Emmanuel Adebayor's excessive demands have reportedly scuppered his proposed move from Tottenham to Manchester City. (Daily Star)

Spurs had agreed a fee of £5 million for Adebayor, and the Togolese wants City to pay the cash straight to him.

AC Milan are considering an approach for Manchester City defender Micah Richards, but the Italian giants will have to contest Real Madrid for his signature. (talkSPORT)

The Serie A club will instead wait for another season and hope to drive up the price for the 22-year-old.
