Magpies make Good signing

Newcastle have confirmed the signing of teenage Australian defender Curtis Good from Melbourne Heart.

The highly-rated 19-year-old centre-back has signed a six-year deal with the Magpies following a successful trial, and will join up with his new team-mates this week when they return from their trip to Portugal.

Good, a graduate of the Australian Institute of Sport, made 25 appearances for the club in his debut A-League season, and has represented his country at under-19 level.
