Agger: Reds future not in my hands

Liverpool defender Daniel Agger says he "can't imagine" playing for any other club in England but admits his future may be taken out of his hands if a big offer comes in.

Boss Brendan Rodgers admitted last week that the Reds would likely allow the Denmark international to leave were a "massive bid" to be tabled. Agger has two years left on his Anfield contract and is a reported target for Barclays Premier League champions Manchester City, but he is in no hurry to end his time at Liverpool.

"I'd rather stay," Agger told Danish website politiken.dk. "I can't imagine playing for any other club in England but you never know if the club think it's better to sell. I'd rather stay but that decision is not up to me at the moment."
