Football's most over-priced players

When Wolves went down with a wimper last season, a number of Premier League clubs would have kept a keen eye on developments at Molinuex in the hope of finding a summer transfer bargain.

This, however, has not been the case with Wolves admirably managing to hold onto a number of their most prized assets so far, due in the main to the exorbitant valuations the club have placed on their players.

Sunderland have their eye on Steven Fletcher and have had a bid in the region of £14 million knocked back - which raises the question as to how highly Wolves value the Scottish striker.

Fletcher is a Premier League quality striker - there is no debate about that - but has the former Burnley man has seemingly become the most over-priced player currently on the market.
