Norwich bring in Garrido on loan

Norwich manager Chris Hughton has brought Spanish defender Javier Garrido to the club on a season-long loan from Lazio.

The deal for the 27-year-old former Manchester City left-back, subject to the usual rules of international clearance, sees Garrido arrive at Carrow Road looking to make the most of a second chance to shine in the Premier League.

Norwich confirmed the signing on their club website, and Garrido adds experience to a squad which survived comfortably in the Barclays Premier League last season. Hughton said: "I'm absolutely delighted to be bringing in somebody of Javier's quality."
