Tottenham Hotspur v Norwich; Manchester City v QPR

Spurs and Manchester City will be looking to build on their differing starts to the season this weekend. Andre Villas-Boas’ side host Chris Hughton’s Norwich City, whilst the Citizens will be at home to QPR in a repeat of last season’s dramatic final game.

New signing Moussa Dembele could feature for Spurs, whilst a host of fresh additions are expected to feature for the Hoops in their late kick-off at the Etihad.
 

West Ham v Fulham; Swansea v Sunderland; West Brom v Everton; Wigan v Stoke

West Ham United host the Cottagers in Saturday’s early kick-off, with Andy Carroll expected to feature in some capacity after his move from Liverpool.

In the day’s other games, Swansea host Sunderland, Everton travel to West Brom and Wigan entertain Stoke City.
 

Liverpool v Arsenal

The big match on Sunday is undoubtedly at Anfield, with the Gunners looking for a repeat of last season’s 2-1 success.

Both sides could feature a number of new signings, but Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez will still be key for Liverpool, whilst Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski are integral to Arsene Wenger’s side.
 

Southampton v Manchester United; Newcastle v Aston Villa

Manchester United travel to Southampton in another of the day’s big matches, although Sir Alex Ferguson has been quiet in the closing days of the window.

Newcastle host the Villains just days after their Europa League play-off win, and confidence will be high against Paul Lambert’s early strugglers.
