Arsenal host Chelsea in the Premier League’s big weekend fixture, with Arsene Wenger’s Gunners looking to close the gap to a point at the top of the table with victory.

Both sides come into the game on the back of emphatic Capital One Cup victories, and have no fresh injury concerns to consider. Thomas Vermaelen could return for the hosts, whilst John Terry is expected to start for the Blues despite a negative outcome in his FA hearing.

Champions Manchester City travel to face a Fulham side without Dimitar Berbatov, whilst Liverpool make the trip to Norwich City looking to repeat last year’s emphatic victory inspired by a Luis Suarez hat-trick.

Reading, bottom of the Premier League table, host a Newcastle United side who have Alan Pardew at the helm for another eight years, whilst Southampton make the trip to a wounded Everton side who lost to Leeds last time out.

Stoke host Swansea City, whilst Wigan travel to Sunderland in the remaining 3pm kick-offs.

And then, at 5:30pm, Tottenham Hotspur travel to face a Manchester United side expected to be without Antonio Valencia. Wayne Rooney is in-line to make his Premier League return after starting against Newcastle in midweek.
