Video: Arsenal starlet scores stunner

It looks like Arsene Wenger may have another gem in his Arsenal youth ranks as Gunners starlet Chuks Aneke pulled off a moment of brilliance at the weekend.

The 19-year-old is currently on loan from Arsenal at League One side Crewe Alexandra to gain some valuable first team experience.

Arsene Wenger will have taken note of Aneke’s contribution in Crewe’s 2-1 win over Hartlepool and Arsenal fans will be envisaging him doing the same at Emirates Stadium in the future.

Crewe were 0-1 down at home to the Pools when Aneke made his contribution, curling a beautiful strike over goalkeeper Scott Flinders into the far top corner.

Aneke’s promise was evident during Arsenal’s pre-season tour to Asia, where he put in composed performances and even scored the winning goal in the Gunners’ friendly clash with a Malaysia XI in Kuala Lumpur.
