Borussia Dortmund have lined up Polish wonderkid Arkadiusz Milik as a potential replacement for Manchester United target Robert Lewandowski, reports talkSPORT.

The 18-year-old striker has enjoyed a scintillating start to the 2012/13 campaign with current club Gornik Zabrze, scoring five goals in his first seven matches.

Milik is seen as the new star in Polish football, and has been drafted into the senior national team for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

He has attracted attention from a number of different clubs, most notably Dortmund, who are mindful of Manchester United's interest in Lewandowski, despite the fact he still has two years to run on his current contract with the Bundesliga club.

Jurgen Klopp will be eager to keep hold of his star striker, but with speculation Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson is planning to lure Lewandowski to Old Trafford, the fact they are monitoring his compatriot Milik, suggests they're preparing for his departure.

Dortmund will offer Lewandowski a bumper new deal in attempt to secure his long-term future to Signal Iduna Park, but the possibility of a Premier League move could still turn his head.
