Sol Campbell couldn't hide his disappointment at former club Tottenham Hotspur's heavy defeat by Arsenal in the north London derby on Saturday, reports the London Metro.

The 38-year-old, who left White Hart Lane for Highbury in 2001, was pictured looking glum-faced while sitting with a smiling Thierry Henry at the Emirates Stadium.

Campbell was in attendance with the Gunners legend yesterday, and while the Frenchman jumped up in delight as Lukas Podolski fired Arsene Wenger's side into the lead against ten-man Spurs, the former England international defender remained in his seat and sullenly applauded the goal.

Arsenal romped to a 5-2 victory, despite falling a goal behind, courtesy of a close-range strike from Emmanuel Adebayor. But, after the Togolese star was sent off for a high lunge on Santi Cazorla, there was no way back for Andre Villas-Boas' visitors.

Per Mertesacker equalised within minutes before Podolski put the hosts 2-1 up. Then goals from Olivier Giroud, Cazorla and Theo Walcott ensured all three points, with Gareth Bale grabbing a consolation for Tottenham.

Campbell's reaction may taint his reputation among the Arsenal faithful slightly, but it is unlikely to help any Spurs fans warm to him again, after his ill-fated free transfer departure 11 years ago.
