QPR chief executive Philip Beard insists the Londoners can save their Premier League skins - but admits there are no guarantees even with Harry Redknapp's magic.
Redknapp was confirmed as Mark Hughes' successor at Loftus Road on Saturday morning. The former Portsmouth and Tottenham boss has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the Premier League's basement boys, who are currently five points adrift of safety.
"The situation is only not salvagable when it is impossible," said Beard. "We have played 12 games without a win and we felt it was the right time to act in the best interests of the club."
