Plymouth have cancelled the contract of goalkeeper Luke McCormick by mutual consent.
The 24-year-old is currently on bail as he awaits trial over a fatal road accident on the M6 last month.
He is charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving and driving with excess alcohol in his blood following the crash in which two children were killed.
