Owen ´baffled and bewildered´ by penalty

Prospective Luton chairman Nick Owen has hit out the at the Football League´s decision to ensure they start next season with a 30-point penalty, claiming the troubled League Two club have been "kicked in the teeth".

The Football League hit Luton with a 20-point penalty after coming out of administration, on top of the 10 points already docked by the FA for misconduct charges.

"I´m just baffled and bewildered that they can be so harsh on us. We are dismayed by it and very surprised," Owen told BBC Radio 5 Live.
