Video: Brazilian goalkeeper takes contender for worst free-kick ever

Last week it came to GMF's attention that Neymar had been rivalled for perhaps the worst penalty miss of all-time, after Gent captain Ilombe Mboyo failed from the spot with a woeful effort.

Now it seems there is a leading candidate to be named the worst free-kick ever, following on from Sam Corcoran's embarrassing set-piece which resulted in Chelmsford City conceding a goal on the break.

Step forward El Jaish goalkeeper Evanildo, who defied logic at the weekend when he sent a free-kick from his own penalty area inexplicably out for a corner with the definition of a banana strike.
