Sunderland expect striker Kenwyne Jones to undergo a scan on Monday on the knee injury suffered while playing for Trinidad and Tobago against England on Sunday.
Jones was taken off just 11 minutes into Sunday night´s 3-0 friendly defeat by Fabio Capello´s side after colliding with goalkeeper David James.
And the Black Cats have confirmed on their website - www.safc.com - that their medical department are liaising with their Trinidad and Tobago counterparts, revealing Jones is "expected to undergo a scan in Trinidad later (on Monday)".
