Pele tribute for Dooley

Pele has paid tribute to Sheffield football legend Derek Dooley who died on Wednesday aged 78.

Dooley crossed the football divide in Sheffield, both playing and managing Sheffield Wednesday before undertaking a number of off-field roles at United, including chairman.

Pele met Dooley when he visited south Yorkshire as part of the 150th anniversary celebrations of Sheffield FC and told the Blades´ official website, www.sufc.co.uk: "I know he will be affectionately remembered by everyone at Sheffield United because they are a family club."
