Manchester United Munich air disaster hero Harry Gregg is to be honoured 50 years on by the University of Ulster.
The former Northern Ireland and Busby Babes goalkeeper - who repeatedly went back into the crashed plane to rescue passengers - is to receive the degree of Doctor of the University in recognition of his services to football.
The 75-year-old was brought up in Coleraine, where he will be honoured in the summer graduation by the university.
