Terry Butcher and Steven Pressley appear to be on the verge of joining George Burley´s backroom staff after holding talks with the new Scotland manager.
Both men are well known to Burley, who hopes they will accept invitations to become the two coaches he is able to bring in.
Speaking before he went into talks with Burley, Butcher said: "I´m quite open about things. I played at Ipswich in the same side as George and have kept in touch with him - and it is great for him to ask me about the post with Scotland."
