Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws was full of praise for his side despite Tuesday´s FA Cup third-round exit to Derby at Hillsborough.
The Championship side took their Premier League counterparts right to the wire, before eventually losing 4-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
"We left it too late because it´s a lottery when you get to penalties," Laws told the club´s website. He added: "What a first half we had though, I thought we were outstanding."
