Bolton manager Gary Megson had "no regrets" after his under-strength side crashed out of the FA Cup.

Megson rested striker Nicolas Anelka - who has been strongly linked with a move to Chelsea - and watched as the Trotters went down 1-0 to Coca-Cola Championship side Sheffield United at the Reebok Stadium.

"A lot of clubs have done this. The disappointment is that a number of players did not take the chance given to them," he said.
