Wiltshire businessman Andrew Fitton and his Swindon Football Holdings Limited consortium have finally agreed their takeover of Swindon.
An initial deal between Fitton and the League One club fell through earlier in December but it was recently revived and after protracted negotiations which saw various deadlines set and missed, an agreement has now been struck between the two parties.
A statement on the Robins´ official website: "Swindon Football Holdings announces that at 7pm on Thursday, it entered into a conditional agreement to purchase 75% of the issued share capital of Swindon Town Football Company Limited."
