Manchester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has revealed striker Darius Vassell has joined the club´s growing injury list and could be out for up to a fortnight.
The former England striker was left out of the squad for Saturday´s 2-1 win over Reading and Eriksson has admitted the 27-year-old has a knee complaint.
"Vassell was out with an injury. We sent him home after training on Friday," said Eriksson. "He had a scan that day and he has a knee problem, which I don´t think is a serious one, but I think he´s out for a couple of weeks."
