Nemanja Vidic has tipped defensive partner Rio Ferdinand to top Manchester United´s scoring charts if he carries on at his present rate.
Ferdinand scored his second goal in as many games against Dynamo Kiev after a scrappy effort at Aston Villa on Saturday and Vidic jokingly claimed the former Leeds captain could now be rivalling Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney in the scoring stakes.
"If Rio keeps going like this, he is going to finish up top scorer," smiled the tough-tackling Serb. "He did brilliantly for his goal and he had another chance apart from that."
